Job Description
The Application Lead will be responsible for supporting Oracle EBS Projects Module solutions to ensure that the company is optimally leveraging system capabilities and coordinating and leading application development activities in all areas of the development lifecycle. Under limited supervision, the Application Lead is able to exercise judgment in ensuring involvement of senior team leaders when necessary and has in-depth knowledge of the principals, theories, practices, and techniques for leading the activities related to planning, managing and implementing application development projects and programs.
Responsibilities include:
Oracle support for a multi-business, multi-org instance
Leverage project implementation experience to aid business in performing daily operations in a more efficient operation
Design, manage and implement upgrades and enhancements
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve business process issues and identify business process improvement opportunities
Communicate with accounting users on potential problems related to process steps and procedures
Troubleshooting skills across modules and custom applications that touch Oracle
Responsibility for resolving all issued assigned in a timely manner
Ownership for development of application architecture and delivery of technical solutions that meet moderately complex business requirements.
Oversee the development of functional & program specifications based on moderately business requirements or business practices.
Ensure that all applications conform to system and programming standards and are appropriately documented.
Manage formal and informal project communication amongst team and with other project participants using methods appropriate to audience and type of communication
Job Requirements
7 - 10 years overall IT Experience
5
years Oracle EBS (R12 ) application technical/functional experience with proven experience in Oracle Projects (Costing, Billing, OTL, Resource Management).
Solid knowledge of Oracle Application Framework
Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, HRMS)
Demonstrated experience in functional design, testing and implementation of interfaces between Oracle E-Business Suite and external systems
Ability to design, document, test, implement and support functionality across areas of assigned responsibility
Ability to manage end user issues encompassing troubleshooting, logging Oracle SR and managing end user interactions
Ability to manage end user issues encompassing troubleshooting, logging Oracle SR and managing end user interactions
Knowledge of ADI and Discoverer report generation
Oracle R12 planning and upgrade experience would be a bonus
Experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
Superior people skills - Must be able to work in a team environment

Must perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience/Knowledge with Project Analytics is a bonus
