Supervisor II, Clinic Operations - Dignity Health (Stockton, CA)

Title: Supervisor II, Clinic Operations Job Number: 140####### The Supervisor II position is responsible for all day-to-day clinic operation activities that support patients, physicians, clinic staff, internal and external laboratory and imaging staff, hospital staff, patient family members, and vendors by offering leadership, vision, open communications, solutions, and customer service. Supervisors II are directly responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, preparing reviews, rewarding, disciplining, and terminating employee's per Dignity Health Medical Foundation policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS: -One (1) year experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Office Supervisor preferred; or an equivalent amount of Supervisory experience in a high-volume customer service role in another industry/environment; or one (1) year experience in a Lead position within Dignity Health Medical Foundation. -Bachelors degree in a relevant field or has comparable mix of education combined with experience in a clinic setting. -Demonstrates critical thinking skills. -Proficient writing skills. -Ensures staffing is aligned with productivity standards. -Consistently applies Dignity Health Medical Foundation policies and procedures. -Demonstrates leadership - ability to lead team to accomplish goals. -Understands and speaks to models of problem resolution. -Demonstrates time management and prioritizing fundamentals. -Maintains professional appearance. -Demonstrates proficient IT skills and understanding and can effectively use various types of software packages (i.e. Word, Excel). -Demonstrates and applies Think List daily. -Demonstrates and applies Quint Studer principles daily. -Office is an example of No Clutter. -Persuades people. -Demonstrates a high degree of comfort with physicians. -Demonstrates ollaborative working relationship with union. -Demonstrates and applies effective conflict resolution skills. -Understands and applies management skills and principles. -Resolves basic employee and labor issues. -Conducts monthly staff meetings and includes MDs. Participates in team meetings. -Reports physician behavioral issues to administration. -Evaluates policy and procedure non-compliance and appropriately determines when disciplinary action is required; understands how to write basic discipline memos and performance improvement plans and how to hold corrective action meeting. -Demonstrates collaborative working relationship with all levels in organization. -Demonstrates understanding of fiancs - including contribution margins and operation productivity. -Basic knowledge of Dignity Heatlh Management/Financial Systems. -Meets budget. -Meets scorecard targets. -Recognizes opportunities for business development of product lines. -Sets department goals with team. -Seeks opportunities for professional excellence through training and development methods. -Demonstrates continuous quality improvement. -Demonstrates the ability to apply industrial engineering concepts to managing areas of responsibility. -Adheres to Matrix process for employee leaves of absence. -Experience with multi-line phones/ACD phones preferred. -Medical terminology, budget preparation, and project management skills is preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
