Job Overview The purpose of Front of House/Bartender/Server position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when at Bonchon.
Bonchon Front of House/Bartender/Server are responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages as well as serving food to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
At all times, Front of House/Bartender/Server are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and make them feel welcomed, comfortable, important, and relaxed.
Job Qualifications General Responsibilities Greet guests; take food and beverage orders from guests and if needed mix drinks accurately in accordance with Bonchon recipes.

Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests experience at the bar.
Learns the names and personally recognize our regulars.
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures.
Record drink orders accurately and immediately into the point-of-sale system.
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable).
Ensure that the assigned bar area/serving area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
Present drink menus and menus; make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages or menu items.
Must be able to communicate to guests about any item on the menu as well as inform them of specials, promotions, and any menu changes.
Make specific beverage, appetizer, entree, and dessert recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy Answer questions about our food, beverages, and any menu item as well as any other restaurant functions and services.
Take food and beverage orders from guests, and enter orders in our point-of-sale system before taking item to the table.
Must complete all opening and closing checklists.
Maintain clean and stocked service and dinning areas.
Clear and reset tables in bar area or ones assigned.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies before and after each shift.
Thank guests for their visit and always invite them to return.
Notify Dinning Room Supervisor or manager-on-duty any time a guest is not IOO% satisfied with their experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
