Job Description:
The Jive Communications Finance department is growing and looking for a detailed-oriented individual to join our Accounts payable team. Entry level position with opportunities for advancement and overtime.
Jive Communications is seeking to hire a qualified individual to help with administrative responsibilities including paying invoices, managing vendors, tracking leases, and reconciling bank statements.
Looking for a quick learner/hard worker. Jive system can be learned without previous experience.
Responsibilities:
Process invoices with accuracy
Communicate with Vendors to make sure bills are correct
Reconcile statements every month
Ensure leases are up to date
Skills/
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal)
Finance/Accounting background a plus
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Some knowledge of Excel
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, keep organized and prioritize appropriately.
Works well in a team and alone

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
