Responsible for organizing and reviewing imaging files and jackets in preparation for Radiologist interpretation.
Keeps film flow to the Emergency department optimal.
Assists Radiologic Technologists with daily workflow, and other related functions as required.
In addition, supports the department in carrying out darkroom responsibilities as needed.
Must have a high school education and 1-2 years experience as a Customer Service Representative or like position in a similar Healthcare environment.
Medical terminology or work in an inpatient hospital patient care setting required.
Prior dark room experiences strongly preferred.
Must have excellent organizational skills and knowledge of basic clerical functions, including data entry and retrieval, file management, telephone and interpersonal skills.
Must be detail-oriented and able to accurately perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a work team.
