Nursing Department Assistant Manager, RN NICU - Kaiser Permanente (Fontana, CA)

Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Current California RN license required.
- CurrentBLS certification required.
- Clinical nursing experience relevant to a given position/department (e.
g.
, emergency nursing, medical surgical) required (usually three(3) to four (4)years) including two (2) years of leadership experience.
- BSN or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required or completion of a relevant bachelor's degree withintwo (2)years of hire.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement and clinical care delivery processes, staffing, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of Nursing Practice Act, JCAHO and other federal, state and local regulatory requirements interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- NICU certification from a nationally recognized accrediting organization (example - National Certification Corporation) California Children's Services 3/25/2 b 4).
Notes:
- This is a variable full time position, work hours may vary between 7:
00 pm - 7:
30 am.
- Work schedule:
six (6) twelve (12) hour shifts and one (1) eight(8) hour shift per pay period/40 hours a week.
- Rotating weekends.
