Google search and general computer - must know how to search and type
Basic knowledge of automotive systems
Ability to pass P2 ASE test
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly
Ability to stand or sit/drive for an entire work period
Knowledge of Parts sales/related sales a plus
Driving
Clean/Clear/Current driver's license
Auto Insurance
Reliable transportation (to get to work)
Ability to drive manual or automatic transmission
Perform routine checks of the delivery vehicle (oil, water, tires)
Inventory Control
Receive parts
Put parts away in proper location
Notify Manager/Owner if there are discrepancies
Parts Sales
Operate computer
Question customer to determine parts needed by phone or in person
Suggest sale of related parts
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product features
Locate and order non-stock parts for customers from warehouse, branch or internet
Handle warranty or defective parts for customers in accordance with company procedure
Process approved credits for customer when merchandise is returned
Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and customer information
Ensure that counter parts area, store floor and back area are clean and inorderEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
