Responsible to book, coordinate, track, file claims, and complete necessary paperwork for import, export, and domestic shipments. Responsibilities include:
. Identifying and managing providers, developing metrics that identify defects and improve performance, and designing solutions that improve the benefit of the Import/Export program and managing those projects;
HTS Code determination of products sold - Maintain and update current database in SAP and determine code for new products;
Give freight forwarder clearance instructions taking into account all governmental regulations and import regimes;
Review of all import invoices for accuracy;
Make local deliveries to customers when needed;
Work remotely when needed to address urgent items with overseas vendors.
Mental alertness and attention to detail with regard to procedures and paperwork.
Pleasant and understanding communication and collaboration at a worldwide level.
A proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
Needed Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or similar field experience
Strong MS Office
Knowledge of Customs clearance, import regulations, import documentation, certificates, and other requirements.
Customer service driven.
Reporting skills: creation, improvement, and analysis. Must be proficient in Excel.
Budgeting experience
Excellent verbal and writing skills
. Knowledge of domestic LCL/FTL routing, pricing, and bill of lading preparation.
. Valid driver's license

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
