Administrative Director, Music Division

Reporting to the Dean and Director of the Music Division, the Administrative Director of the Music Division plays a strategic role in the oversight, implementation, and management of all Music Division initiatives, as well as the day-to-day administration of the Music Division.
Responsibilities:
Partners with the Dean and Director in the management, administration, and implementation of all general Music Division activities and endeavors in support of the Dean and Director. Partners with administrative leaders of Vocal Arts, Jazz, and Historical Performance to ensure smooth operations across entire division Administrates general Music Division projects across departments and divisions and manages relationships internally with all departments of concert production Participates in the development and advancement of strategic initiatives that are vital to the growth and success of the Music Division. Supports informational and documentation needs of Dean and Director and Music Division as a whole. Responsible for contracting process of performance faculty and guest artists in the general music division and works with individual departmental managers to coordinate and oversee contracting process for performance faculty/guest artists of Vocal Arts/Jazz/Historical Performance/Orchestra Works with budget managers within the general Music Division to gather and coordinate budget processes and ensures strategic budget planning Manages the processing and maintenance of guest honorarium budget and process, the studio faculty substitute process, and check request process for the general music division Liaison and facilitator for collaboration efforts across Music Division departments, as well as across Drama, Dance, and Preparatory divisions Develops, oversees and maintains full performance calendar for Music Division to ensure smooth coordination between departments and minimize schedule conflicts Develops and oversees annual staff review process for all areas of the Music Division. Partners with key stakeholders and members of the leadership team to coordinate recruitment searches to fill key vacancies in key positions in the Music Division In tandem with the Dean and Director, coordinates the communication of policies and processes to music division students and faculty in consultation with the Provost's office. Partners with the Registrar's Office to track and coordinate room assignments for studio faculty, resolves conflicts, approves requests for space by guests and alumni (when appropriate, and in coordination with Dean and Director of Music Division) Partners with the Office of Communications for the timely and targeted delivery of music-related publicity materials, ensures music division areas of the website and my.juilliard.edu pages remain up to date and current Partners with the Admissions Office to coordinate admissions and recruitment strategy Serves on committees, task forces, and other school functions as requested Special Projects and other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree, with experience in music performance and/or arts management and administration; equivalent experience considered as a substitute Minimum of 5 related years' experience, required Experience as an administrator in classical music presenting and/or educational institutions Knowledge of the classical music industry with experience handling all transactional and contractual aspects of professional engagement, both domestic and international Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in busy environment; willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed Ability to work collaboratively as part of and in a team setting Ability to work well independently to meet multiple deadlines Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, faculty, and students, as well as external partners, demonstrated sensitivity to the many needs of a fast-paced educational and performing arts community Outstanding attention to detail with strong written, verbal, and organizational skills Must exercise excellent judgement, discretion, and integrity Fluency in commonly used computer software for document and schedule management The successful candidate must be able to work well with all levels of community members, be flexible in nature, have sound judgment with an open and collaborative style that encourages teamwork and cooperation beyond the immediate team to the broader organization. Ability to work with a wide range of constituencies (staff, students, faculty, and administrators) with diplomacy and tact Understanding of the mission of The Juilliard School as well as the school's commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging Preferred Background:
Master's degree preferred Background in classical music arts administration Experience with concert production and implementation Experience managing schedules and institution-wide calendars Experience with arts management software, including ASIMUT and ArtsVision
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Education AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
