If this sounds like the right opportunity for you apply today A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS SPECIALIST As a Housing Development and Operations Specialist your day is full of a variety of tasks that require exceptional communication and timemanagement skills.
Responsibilities include initiating and coordinating transition of renttoown housing inventory preparing and administering tenant notifications conducting tenant meetings scheduling asset reviews sales price calculations and creating closing files for impending home purchases.
You will crosstrain with preparation of closing documents title escrow instruction letters and executing procedures with multiple parties for all REO real estate owned housing inventory.
You will assist our Operations Analyst in scheduling and conducting new project rentup meetings processing audits and processing payoff and reconveyance requests.
You will assist our Housing Program Managers with development and consulting services as well as cross train on SFR singlefamily residence and multifamily loan underwriting due diligence and proforma support.
You will also assist our Affordable Housing Development Manager in processing monthly construction contract payments crosstrain on site assessments construction progress inspections conformance to plansspecs and construction scheduling providing support for coordination of bid development and construction budgeting assessments.
Your followthrough is essential in maintaining physical condition of all forsale homes REO and building lots as well as performing annual asset reviews for portfolio loans coordinating annual rent adjustmentsCPI adjustments coordinate with internal accountants in administering financial covenants.
You will issue related correspondencereports to project owners property managers and Affordable Housing Development Manager.
You will work closely with owners and property managers to resolve and mitigate all issues as they arise.
Do you have strong asset management skills You will perform oversight of tracking and support to owners re compliance exceptions and monthly vacancy report coordinating with the Housing Operations Analyst and owners to schedule capital needs assessments evaluation of capital replacements reserve balances and recommendations for use.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS SPECIALIST Knowledge about LIHTC LowIncome Housing Tax Credits financing is preferred as is some experience in nonprofit or government work.
