Banking / Structured Finance / Restructuring Associate -NY
A leading global law firm is seeking a Banking / Structured Finance / Restructuring Associate to join its practice in New York or Charlotte. The role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse client base-ranging from emerging companies to large financial institutions-across a broad range of industries nationwide.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience representing banks and other financial institutions in structured finance transactions, including asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) matters, as well as project finance and loan agency work. For mid-level candidates, experience negotiating and drafting credit agreements and structuring loan transactions is required.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in structured finance, banking, or restructuring matters
- Experience with ABS, CLOs, project finance, and loan agency transactions
- For mid-level candidates, demonstrated experience with credit agreements and loan structures
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
- Active membership in the New York State Bar

Compensation &
Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $235,000-$260,000, with final compensation determined based on education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, market data, and geographic differentials. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance with optional HSA, dental and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan, paid vacation and sick time, and an employee assistance program.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
