Beverage/Wine/Floor Manager - Hamptons

Qualifications:

• Tenure that shows stability in prior roles (no job-hoppers)
• 1-3 years of experience as a Beverage Manager or Sommelier in a full-service restaurant
• Proven ability to curate thoughtful, well-priced, and unique wine lists aligned with the restaurant's cuisine
• Experience managing wine inventory, sourcing wines, and maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Ability to lead wine education and training for FOH staff to improve wine knowledge and sales
• Strong understanding of wine regions, producers, and pairing principles
• Sommelier Level 1 certification strongly preferred (sponsorship available if not currently held)
• Comfortable working the floor, engaging with guests, and driving beverage sales during service
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Candidates based on or willing to commute to the East End of Long Island strongly preferred

• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong inventory management skills
• Excellent communication skills with both guests and staff
• Natural leader who can educate, mentor, and motivate the team around beverage sales
• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills in a busy dining environment
