Contracts Administrator Lead

Job Description: The Contracts Administrator will support a variety of programs and new business activities within the Surveillance Solutions Business at Harris Corporation.  Surveillance Solutions provides enabling technologies for situational awareness in land, sea and air delivering identification, analysis and precision approach of platforms in the area of interest. Through active radar technologies and passive detection solutions, Surveillance Solutions allows for complete battlespace control.  Responsibilities include: Responsible for contract administration in including but not limited to: Performs as a team lead to administers contracts and agreements accordance with federal government regulations and company policies and procedures.  Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Leads proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.  Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares proposals and customer correspondence. Advises program team and management of contractual rights and obligations of the programs for which you are responsible; Compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Qualifications: BA/BS in a business or related field 9+ years of experience in contracts management, preferably dealing with US Government contracts. Direct experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR, EAR, CAS. 4+ years Contract Negotiation experience. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).  Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree/MBA  Experience with international and commercial contracts. Demonstrated business acumen/financeexperience. Demonstrated ability to build relationships. Excellent interpersonal & communications (written and oral) skills. NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
