Manager, Marketing

Summary The Marketing Manager oversees the day-to-day functions of the Marketing Department including management of staff, budget, projects, programs, campaigns, promotions, vendors, events, and deadlines. This position also works closely with peer management team members on corporate-level projects and programs. The Marketing Manager actively seeks opportunities to introduce strategic, product, and process improvements and innovations.   Essential Duties: A successful Marketing Manager must spend over 50% of work time on, and satisfactorily perform, these general categories of duties 1 : Manage Marketing Department staff. Create and manage the marketing budget. Provide input into, and oversee execution of, marketing plans, campaigns, promotions, events, programs, projects, etc. Ensure all deliverable deadlines are met, ensure accuracy and effectiveness of all marketing materials. Develop and manage new and ongoing marketing programs. Manage relationships with key vendors and stakeholders. Actively be involved in measurement and analysis of all marketing efforts, introduce improvements based upon results.   Additional Duties: Less than half the working time is spent on related, non-essential functions, including: Provide general support to Vice President and other executives as needed. Participate on and lead multiple project teams. Propose, implement, analyze performance of new products and services, marketing strategies, channels, and innovations. Review and approve all marketing materials and invoices. Attend sponsorship and other member functions/events. Train staff, present to staff and executives. Provide support at miscellaneous on-site and off-site marketing events as needed. Additional miscellaneous tasks and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience 5 to 8 years of similar or related experiencerequired. Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) required. Master's degree in a related discipline preferred. Previous experience in banking or financial services industry required. Previous management experiencerequired. Extensive knowledge of print advertising, point-of-purchase display advertising, direct mail, email marketing, websites, social media marketing, search engine optimization, paid search advertising. Demonstrated problem solving, multitasking, ability to meet deadlines, to manage projects, and organization skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
