Job Description The Director of IT Project Management Solutions is responsible for leading and managing IT projects (medium to large scale) which includes cross-functional strategic initiatives, programs and project teams that cross business unit, division and departmental lines and have company-wide significance.
Additionally, this position provides thought leadership to move the organization to program / project management best practices and to embrace a program management culture.
This is a hands-on leadership position which requires a person to have top-notch project management related skills that are adaptable and versatile based upon whatever situation arises, as well as strong applications, solutions architecture (to include SAP) and infrastructure knowledge.
Key Duties Include:
Monitoring performance and recommending scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments Connecting short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case.
Prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Communicating project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.
) to stakeholders in a timely, accurate, open and honest fashion.
Effectively balance competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.
Negotiating with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution.
Managing key performance indicators related to the project.
Escalating to IT leaders any risk related to projects.
Acting as a champion, change agent, and IT-Business liaison.
Skills/Requirements 10
years of Project Management experience in IT, in medium to large scale SAP environment 5
years leading /managing a PMO 3
years' experience in the distribution industry Strong demonstrated knowledge and solution architecture experience within SAP functional and technical areas.
Demonstrated track record of increased responsibilities that includes experience outside of project management.
Proven track record of delivering IT projects within established project constraints (on-time, on-budget, within scope, high quality) Experience managing multiple upgrades, rollouts, and mergers/acquisitions Significant experience defining governance/project management processes, methods, standards, metrics, and measuring and communicating compliance/adherence.
Experience leading matrix teams consisting of employees, contractors, and vendors with various skills and disciplines Ability to effectively interface with technical (IT) groups as well as business teams and executives, both in person and remotely Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a highly demanding business and IT environment Skills include strong business acumen, future-thinking, strategic, accountable, collaborative, and proactive, all complementing strong tactical execution skills Strong can-do attitude and a high degree of tenacity and drive.
High energy, ability to prioritize, desires to work in a results-oriented fast growth environment Solid experience with project tools (i.
e.
MS Project), and methodologies (i.
e waterfall, scrum/agile) Ability to prep/structure and scope a project and to manage a project through to completion Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills along with abstract thinking Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including large and complex programs as well as operational projects Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries Self-motivated with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction Ability to achieve results through influence with People management skills and strong customer service orientation Wholesale Distribution experience a plus Ability to travel up to 50% (fluctuates depending on project mix).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
