About Role:
The Technical Applications Lead manages a team of software developers and are responsible to work closely with other key team members (i.
e.
PM, QA, BA) to define business requirements, estimate and assign tasks, resolve defects, and are responsible, individually, for technical design and architecture in their project team, and collectively across all teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
The Application Technical Lead is the team's champion, serving in a leadership position to mentor and coach direct reports on the Sales Pricing team, including technical design, implementation and code reviews.
People communication skills will be a key factor in this team's environment, that will play into the team's success.
Manage direct reports, including performance reviews and code reviews; Ensure compliance with department and company policies and standards.
Propose and evaluate designs for enterprise sales order, pricing, and quoting business applications, considering performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Work with the Project Manager to define day-to-day task assignments to keep the team organized and focused on delivery targets.
Work with other Application Tech Leads to collectively determine the technologies and tools used by the development team, and general architecture patterns; Within their team, the Application Tech Leads are responsible for applying and interpreting the general guidance.
Ensure that effort estimates are appropriate, and are based on realistic assumptions; Help to clarify business logic and resolve requirement uncertainties.
Keep team focused on project tasks to meet delivery commitments; Communicate issues that may affect release dates.
Take ownership of applications including upgrade plans to keep to current standards.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
