SQL Developer
Our client is currently seeking a full-time/permanent SQL Developer to join their team.
This role, under the guidance of Software Development Team Lead, plays a pivotal role in the development of database architecture, ETL and development activities across the organization, while ensuring high levels of data availability.
The Database Developer will evaluate and advise on all components related to the database systems including database management systems and applications.
This job will have the following
Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, optimize stored procedures, views, functions, database and ETL processes Interact with report owners and solution architect to establish/clarify their requirements and develop report specifications.
Assist with the development and architecture of an enterprise data warehouse.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
Ensure all database systems meet performance requirements.
Experience developing applications in the following languages/disciplines:
SQL SERVER 2014, T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS The successful candidate will have the following experience or knowledge in the following areas:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience Bachelor's Degree Strong knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing and data modeling Strong proficiency with SQL; skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures Preferred:
Experienced in ETL, OLAP Cubes, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling Experienced in C#, Visual Studio Experienced with MS SQL Server, MS SQL Reporting Services and MS Integration Services ID:
