Backend Scala/Java Developer for Disruptive SaaS ($150-250K+)
An entrepreneurial tech team is seeking an experienced back end developer to take on ownership in building a revolutionary SaaS, human analytics platform.
The team is using NLP, and Machine Learning to gather, analyze, and distribute large data sets to drive learning and career development in a radically transparent fashion throughout the workforce.
As a member of this tight knit team, you will utilize Scala and Java to build and own the Greenfield development of the backend in an AWS / cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy back end Scala/Java based application using Build applications with usability and large scale in mind Work in a large scale, distributed environment and design applications to gather and process data from numerous sources Face off with users, stakeholders and other engineers to constantly improve application design Requirements:
At least 2
year's production level development experience utilizing Scala/Java Back end or Full Stack development experience using Scala and Java Experience building pipelines, API's, or writing code that performs analytics Exposure to or interest in Scala, Spark, AWS, Machine Learning, Natural Language processing B.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
