The Front-End Developer works closely with the Web Development Team Lead in developing digital solutions and plays a major role in the coding and implementation of all web projects.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in finding technical solutions and keeps in mind the overall picture when it comes to building websites such as UX, visual design, SEO, analytics, branding, content management, etc.
The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of Drupal development (7 and 8), possessing the ability to stand up and configure new Drupal sites, including themes, content types, taxonomies, and workflows.
Help build and maintain Drupal Web sites and Drupal-based applications Complete front-end development of websites and digital applications Coding applications that call internal backend services/data and update the front-end Create UI that integrate with various APIs (Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
) Troubleshoot site errors and CSS issues and implement fixes Implements various analytic tags and tracking codes (Omniture, Google Analytics) along with developing custom tagging Responsible for supporting and maintaining legacy websites that are built on outdated architecture and code.
Works with the Engineering department in building, merging and deploying code Researches and learns new web technologies, APIs and programming languages and JS libraries as projects dictate.
Performs Cross-browser/device testing Assist in performing routine content updates using various Content Management Systems Perform web production tasks such as video encoding, asset management and editing/exporting various graphical elements.
Available when needed to support production builds from home during nights/after-hours.

years of experience with Drupal configuration and development and experience working on Drupal 7 & 8 sites, modules, and themes 4
years of experience as a strong front end developer and with PHP, HTML5, CSS2/3, XML, JSON, and front-end libraries REST API Experience.
Experience with developing Web sites and Web applications Experience with PHP and Web application programming concepts Knowledge of Drupal-adjunct technologies, including the LAMP platform, HTML5, CSS3, and JQuery Ability to manage and facilitate relevant portions of the SDLC in an Agile environment Ability to display a strong design sense and strong expertise in information architecture and usability Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree required Experience with visual design expertise and building responsive design Web sites to support full site, tablet, and phone layouts Experience with Git-based workflows and command-line tools, including Drush Drupal specialization (i.
