Global Innovators To Help Us Build Tomorrows Enterprise As a Lead Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.
You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution.
You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution.
You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope.

We are unable to sponsor at this time Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred At least 7 years of Experience in working with GE Smallworld suite of Products like Electric Office(EO), Gas Distribution office(GDO) At least 7 years of strong utility and GIS domain background in playing a technology lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Utilities specific to GE Smallwrold platforms.
Experience in Magik Development Experience with Oracle and MS SQL-Server Familiarity with Product Architecture, GE Smallworld Data Model,GSA.
Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Power/Gas) with hands on design, development and deployment experience in GIS.
Familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry.
Experience in implementing GIS solutions in North American Utilities markets.
Experience in implementing GIS systems will be an added advantage.
Experience of playing the GIS development and lead role for atleast 6-7 years.
Candidates with strong development background in GESW suite of applications will be preferred in this role.
Should be able to do the demos during the functional workshops using the GIS product.
Participate in requirement discussions with the client for the GIS program.
Coordinate with offshore in converting the business requirements into functional use cases and technical design.
Guide the developers in resolving issues related to the development.
Develop GIS based POCs to showcase ideas, prepare for demos to presenting to the business user.
Perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.
Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.
Must be a team player and be able to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.
Participate in project review meetings with the client and provide regular updates to offshore.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
