Sr. Leave of Absence Analyst

Job Description:
Responsibilities The Sr.
LOA Analyst serves as the coordinator for leaves of absence such as FMLA, CFRA, PDL, Workers' Comp, Military Leaves, etc.
, for employees served by UCLA Medical Center HR.
Communicates with employees and supervisors on appropriate leave types and determines leave qualification and eligibility accordingly.
Provides leave of absence consultation, answers questions regarding entitlements and provides information regarding available benefits.
Provides manager and employee with assistance throughout the leave lifecycle.
Manages case file for each assigned leave of absence in accordance with state, federal, University policy, and/or collective bargaining agreement.
Follows through on each case and monitors leave duration to ensure receipt of relevant documentation, issues timely and accurate responses, and escalates when appropriate for requests extending beyond entitlement.
Assists with Disability Management and Return to Work processes as assigned.
Engages Medical Center Employee/Labor Relations for guidance on complicated cases.
Qualifications 2+ years' experience with LOA administration, including PDL, FML, CFRA, WC, Military and other leave entitlements Strong analytical and problem solving skills HR certification preferred Bachelor's degree preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
