National Accounts Manager
The National Accounts Manager will have responsibility for managing the relationships for a portion of the National Accounts portfolio. This includes setting individual growth targets by account, and developing and implementing a plan for achievement. This role works closely with regional and territory managers to achieve performance targets.
Tasks &
Responsibilities:
Focused on the needs of the buying groups and national key accounts in developing products and programs
Work with leadership at the corporate national account level to facilitate relationships and drive sales to achieve performance targets.
Negotiate contracts, implement pricing and programs throughout the year and during product launches
Provide feedback to sales reps and regional managers to ensure monthly performance targets and action plans are met
Perform quarterly meetings with target national key account and buying group. Evaluate performance to target, effectiveness of plan, and modify plan and targets as appropriate
Work with Regional Managers to develop individual buying group and national key accounts performance targets and action plans
Target key accounts within each group and facilitate relationships with the territory sales managers at the account level to achieve performance targets
Identify potential new business key account and buying group prospects
Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Audiology or Business is a plus
Consultative sales background.
5
years of industry experience is preferred.
Experience in hearing healthcare or related medical field is required.
Must be able to travel 40 - 50%.
Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills.
Must be able to build strong relationships with and gain commitments at the corporate and dispensing office levels.
Superior communication and negotiation skills.
Computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Self motivated.
