Overview
EIS is providing IT support and consulting services to the Census Bureau's LAN Technology Support Office (LTSO) to provide Information Technology (IT) Security and Desktop Support. The scope of work includes the support necessary to develop, maintain, and enhance the USCB-wide Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) capability as well as to provide technical and operational support.
We are looking for a Hardware Specialist (Tier 2) to join our team onsite to support this stable multi-year client site program. The client site location is right next to the metro at the US Census Bureau in Suitland, MD. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Review computer systems in terms of machine capabilities and man-machine interface.
Prepare reports and studies concerning hardware. Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
Ensure that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user's requirements.
Hardware Specialist will be working on the Laptop Team Imaging, configuring and Deploying Laptops.
Qualifications
Candidates must be able to pass a US Public Trust background check for badging and to access client systems.
Must have experience with Remedy ticketing system and related activities
Experienced in imaging laptops activities

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
