POSITION
Summary:
Provide manufacturing engineering expertise to define and continuously improve each plant's manufacturing processes along with designing, specifying, sourcing, approving and releasing plant manufacturing equipment. Aid in supplier validation and new product development.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL
Responsibilities:
Provide technical analysis and input for process and equipment changes to increase utilization and production quality, supplier development, existing process troubleshooting, and new product development.
Manage complex manufacturing projects, including equipment startups, equipment moves, site selection, etc.
Provide strategic input on make/buy analysis.
Lead cost studies and equipment recommendations.
Work with manufacturing locations to determine manufacturing capabilities and assists in the development of new manufacturing processes to increase overall profit for the company.
Assist in efforts to optimize manufacturing process, layout, or site designs; lead where-make analysis.
Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing Operations, Quality Assurance and other Departments as required completing the task/project at hand.
Able to travel up to 25%+.
Perform other related duties as needed and assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Minimum 10 years' experience in manufacturing engineering disciplines, including:
Designing, evaluating, and drawing detailed tooling drawings, plant layouts, and machine set-up specifications using CAD software.
Ability to read and understand detailed product drawings.
Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex data.
Managing complex process startups, new equipment installations, and resolving manufacturing process issues.
Partnering with all levels of the organization including shop floor personnel, mid management, and executives, to solve problems and explain technical concepts.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to successfully meet deadlines, in a rapidly changing environment.
Bachelor's degree (BS) in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or related field.
Very strong project management capabilities, including complex product moves between facilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel and Word).
Comfortable making presentations to all levels of the organization.
Experienced with high-volume metal machining and automated assembly equipment; familiar with typical manufacturing processes including machining, welding, assembly, etc.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Knowledge of GD&T Positioning a plus.
Knowledge of multi-spindle screw machines and rotary transfer machines helpful.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
