POSITION
Summary:
Under the direction of the EMHS 340B Program Manager, the EMHS 340B Program Analyst is responsible for analyzing and the internal auditing of the 340B drug purchasing program across all 340B eligible EMHS facilities.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Pharmacy related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Knowledge of healthcare accounting, finance, and reimbursement principles.
PREFERED
Experience:
Experience with auditing and financial anaylysis strongly preferred. Knowledge of State and Federal 340B Program laws, regulations, and standards preferred. Knowledge of hospital and contract pharmacy 340B programs preferred. accounting, finance and reimbursement principles.
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:
Computer competency as well as knowledge of the metric system and ability to perform simple math calculations. Candidate must be able to operate telephone equipment, photocopier, fax machine and Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook. Must exhibit a caring attitude toward patients, co-workers, and other customers. Strong work ethic to provide comprehensive reports and consistently set and meet appropriate deadlines.
OTHER SKILLS PREFERED:
Knowledge of health care accounting, finance and reimbursement principles. Experience with program planning, development and management. Proficiency in common office productivity software and operating systems such as, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and withstand extended periods of walking (up to 10 hours per shift). Successful candidate must also have the ability to perform repetitive movements.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to function independently in a pressure-filled environment while working as a member of a team. Needs to be able to travel through out the state to the member hospitals of EMHS.
