Overview
Handle accounting needs as directed and assist in daily flow of business as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Transact all business in accordance to Patterson Dental's business code of ethics and conduct.
Process sales orders, credit memos, debit/credit adjustments, and cash receipts
File and verify stock transfers
Verify orders
Responsible for PO receipts
Run PPS and transfer list reports
Handle A/R customer questions and reconcile all customer statement discrepancies
Insure integrity of A/R database through monthly reconciliation of detailed transactions
Run aging reports, distribute and be able to answer questions
Code expense reports
Print and mail invoices weekly
Print and mail customer statements
Responsible for script labels and ensuring scripts are kept current
File/distribute documents relating to sales and cash receipts
Responsible for keying Truck orders for 1403 and 1402
File P.O's
Maintain customer tax exemption
Maintain customer credit files
Follow up on past due account
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Ability to stay on task
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong math skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Education or Formal Training:
Two year degree in accounting
Experience:
Equivalent work experience can take the place of formal education
Animal health background helpful

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
