Registered Nurse
OverviewOverlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab working primarily 6A-6P. On-Call Required.Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Candidate must be able to provide direct , procedural care for patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Assist physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures and communicate continuously with physician and staff about patient condition.
Candidate will educate patient and family members on pre, intra and post procedures, documenting any necessary follow-up.
Documents and ensures all appropriate data (consents, H&P, blood work, allergies, chief complaints, etc.).
Administer post recovery of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Qualifications
Education:
BSN Preferred
Masters Degree Preferred
Required License:
A valid NJ Nursing License Required
Certifications:
BLS Required
ACLS Required
IABP Required
CCRN Preferred
Related
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of acute care Cardiac Telemetry, Critical Care and /or Cardiac Cath Lab required
Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
