This position is at Luke Air Force Base (AFB) located approximately 20 miles west of Phoenix, Arizona. Will perform duties as a Security Administrator in a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) in direct support of the F-35 pilot training mission.
Primary duties will include, but are not limited to; support government/contractor instructor pilots as well as U.S. and partner nation student pilots by providing a secure academic training environment; control access to the SAPF via badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; escort visitors; access and secure the facility via an alarm system; handle and store classified documents and media; enforce all United States Air Force (USAF) and local security procedures and practices; monitoring compliance with myriad security disciplines (e.g., COMSEC); provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change classified container combinations and document and generate applicable paperwork; assist in self inspections in preparation for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security investigations, and perform other duties as required.
This Security Administrator position will support non-standard, second shift operations that may include weekend duty as dictated by mission requirements. While the assigned shift should be stable, the selected candidate may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Final transferable Secret security clearance is required. Security clearance investigation date must be within the past six (6) years. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) accesses. Experience providing security support in a SAP environment. Knowledgeable of Joint Air Force, Army, Navy (JAFAN) manuals or DOD manuals 5205.07 volumes 1 through 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledgeable of F-35 program security requirements. Experience working in military environment. Ability to be flexible in working with consistently changing mission requirements. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Security Professional.
