Job Description:
At Regions, we are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst III who will conduct business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. Assignments may be broad in nature and require originality and ingenuity and have appreciable latitude for independent action or decision.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work with minimal supervision with a high attention to detail in a fast paced environment. The Business Analyst may function as liaison between line of business and the IT / Technology department and may be assisted by Entry/Junior or Intermediate level personnel.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Primary Responsibilities
Formulates/defines specifications for moderately complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from programs
Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devises computer programs, systems and related procedures to process data
Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution
Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic flowcharts
Encodes, tests, debugs and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments
Reviews progress and evaluates results
Requirements
Bachelors Degree and minimum of 6 years related experience; Or, High School diploma or GED and 10 years experience
May require on call support rotation after hours and/or weekends
Skills and Competencies
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Problem solving and priority management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferences
Experience providing application support to include troubleshooting
Banking or financial services industry experience
Previous Project Management and testing experience
Ability and experience in creating business requirements and functional requirements for Waterfall and Agile projects
Ability and experience in creating test plans, scenarios and scripts for system testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing
Able to work proficiently in Waterfall and Agile environments
Work collaboratively as a liaison with the users and the develop teams
Ability and experience to facilitate and lead functional and technical meetings

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
