Controls Engineer (EMEC)

Responsible for Engine Manufacturing Engineering Center (EMEC-Trenton MI) Controls & Electrical engineering discipline execution of assembly and machining equipment sourcing, process design, install and program launch tasks including:
Manage Controls/ICT project timing/scope/funding to deliver manufacturing systems using WCT/WCM tools and methodologies
Responsible for process controls equipment concept, design, build, install, operational tracking and resolving controls issues using EEM 7-Step, PFMEA, SE, WWR-WWW & Kaizen methodology
Write electrical and controls specifications, project books, request for quotes, requisitions. Review, approve and update electrical/fluid power drawings, controls architecture for PLC/CNC/HMI, diagnostics, components, software's and HMI screens. Ensure electrical, controls, safety system compliance to FCA, State and Federal Codes
Programming PLC, HMI, CNC and robots, run-off, startup, debug, qualification support
Implement Powertrain Information Communication Technology (ICT) applications including manufacturing part marking/traceability/RFID, MPTS, FIS, ANDON, MDT, REVEAL
Lead, coordinate and facilitate troubleshooting controls issues involving equipment safety, downtime (LCC, MTTR/MTBF) & throughput improvement (IE CT), facility, ICT data, system integration interlocks, component failures using AM/PM EWO methodology
Responsible for managing controls project documentation, hardware/software, WCM/WCT documentation (AM/PM/EEM Checklist/PFJ) including hand-off to production team
Generate, prepare and present regular reports to both internal and external stakeholders
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required
Experience -5 to 10 years proven hands-on controls system design, integration, launch, manufacturing engineering focused in controls, electrical, maintenance or related field
Required Skills - Auto CAD, PLC, HMI and CNC programming, troubleshooting -- Siemens, Fanuc, Rockwell or Mitsubishi Controls preferred, Fanuc robotics programming, troubleshooting, electro-hydraulic/pneumatic controls
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Outlook
Must have knowledge and experience with automated production equipment
Must be knowledgeable in areas of mistake proofing and problem solving techniques
English language competency required with good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work any shift, overtime and some travel national and international
Self-starter and requires minimal direction
Ability to communicate to all levels of management levels
Excellent people skills and able to work within a team
Ability to function in cross-functional team settings

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
