The Principal Training & Education Specialist takes the lead in the development and implementation of the learning program for the Customer Care Team under the America's. This role is responsible for building, testing and maintaining the training environment, developing and maintaining training materials, and leading all aspects of the new hire as well as refresher training; to ensure all members of the Customer Care Team is credentialed to be working within Medtronic's Enterprise Resource Planning system. Strong partnership and collaboration with the Customer Care Quality team to ensure that training processes and materials meet regulatory and corporate policies.

A Day in the Life
Trains new and existing team members, in captive and/or outsourced locations, on system functionality and workflow, completes prep work for all training sessions, including coordinating logistics, timing and scheduling of classes, and the production of course materials.
Collaborate with business partners to obtain new product updates/product specific requirements to develop/incorporate into established learning programs
Perform and lead the need analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of blended learning programs
Work with the Customer Care Management and Quality Teams to ensure that appropriate training deliverables meet regulatory and corporate policies along with departmental SLA's and KPI's.
Obtain and maintain working knowledge of Medtronic's ERP, Verint, and Avaya systems
Partner with business to obtain
Demonstrate the ability to effectively work on multiple projects as required
Ability to present to an audience with diverse backgrounds
Perform all requirements with a high level of quality and effectiveness
Active participation in all Customer Care initiatives (Calibration, Survey results & Continuous Improvement)
Performs other duties as assigned
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training experience
Years of
Experience:
7
years' experience facilitating, training and mentoring
Knowledge & Skills:
English fluency for reading, writing and speaking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of an ERP system preferred
High degree of initiative
Significant Organization and Presentation skills
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects
