Position Overview:
This position will be in the Talent Acquisition Department within Southern California Edison. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting and staffing services to hiring managers and the company. The successful candidate will deliver high quality professional level candidates and advance the SCE brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
Typical
Responsibilities:
Performing full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, posting jobs, candidate screening, extending offers, and assisting with workforce planning activities, and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large.
Applying HR policies and procedures in addition to providing policy interpretation to hiring managers and candidates.
Analyzing job profiles/descriptions and candidate profiles/resumes to determine target profile needs and appropriate match.
Collaborating with clients and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business.
Attracting, influencing and converting hard to find passive talent.
Conducting ongoing research of competitive landscape and market insights/trends to remain current and relevant in functional technology expertise and demographics.
Working closely with hiring managers to clarify staffing requirements, source and prescreen candidates, interview, prepare salary offers and candidate closeout, as well as manage applicant flow.
Partnering with OU leadership, to include meeting attendance, as required
Actively participate in professional networking groups, job fairs, and other recruiting events.
Leveraging all available tools & resources to ensure full utilization and operational efficiencies.
Facilitating the hiring process and ensuring legal compliance.
Developing recruiting action plans based on data analysis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
