Registered Nurse
OverviewChilton Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-Time RN for the Emergency Department working primarily 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, including every other weekend. Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess,
diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
ED nurses specialize in assessing, intervening and stabilizing variety illnesses with decisive action.
Candidate must have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Must be competent in reading EKG's, and obtaining IV access.
The nature of the emergency room requires RNs to handle complex, rapidly shifting and fluid situations.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

Experience:
1-2 years of Acute Care or Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse in a Hospital setting required.
