What you will do:
The Site Sanitation Technician will complete general cleaning and sanitizing as needed for both non-production and production areas. Must be able to work with little or no supervision and be able to operate a forklift
Here's a day in the life:
Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean and sanitized at all times
Clean and stock with appropriate supplies all offices, restrooms, labs and break areas; clean and/or scrub all warehouse and hallway floors
Monitor, pick up and compact all trash on grounds and all trash generated in the plant and monitor, pick up and recycle all cardboard generated in the plant
Clean and stock with appropriate supplies all hand sinks in all areas and clean drains on milk receiving dock
Clean and monitor all footbath mats and foot foamer units in plant; pressure wash exterior areas; clean outside and under all dock door plates
Clean all exterior windows; clean and/or sanitize all man doors, roll-up doors, dock doors, handrails, fixtures, overhead pipes, storage racking, storage racking areas and surface areas in plant. Operate forklift, cardboard compactor, garbage compactor, floor scrubbing equipment and scissor lift as needed

Skills you'll need:
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in food production or production / manufacturing environment desired.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.
Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.
Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Licenses and/or Certifications: Have or able to earn Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification upon hire
Physical Requirements: Pre-work physical exam is required. Must be able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Fulltime position; Starting wage is $13.53 per hour.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
