What are we looking for?
Lead a team of production operators in the daily operations of the plant to meet customer demands. This position will coordinate and participate in the production of a wide variety of emulsion polymer products to ensure that all orders are met on time and in specification. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and environmental compliance, maintaining high performance, maximizing productivity and product quality. This position actively participates in process improvement initiatives, training and corrective opportunity resolution, and is a key participant in the plant management team.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Plan and supervise all daily production shift activities to meet the scheduled customer demand and special requests Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, permit compliance and operating procedures Ensure product quality is within specification and make necessary adjustments Schedule plant equipment and employee overtime as needed to meet customer demand Utilize SAP to ensure proper inventory reporting (i.e. raw material consumption, finished good reporting) to effectively manage shipping activities Safely operate chemical plant process equipment, control systems, plant utilities in the production of polymer latex Follow all standard operating procedures and detailed information to support manufacturing requirements Communicate plant issues in a timely manner to Management, SHE&S, and other departments as needed Act as site leader on and off shifts. Act as site Emergency Response incident commander Conduct incident investigations, shift safety meetings, perform safety audits, reinforce a culture of safety Provide training and daily guidance to the operations team, perform employee performance reviews and coaching Implement solutions to address problems as needed and in coordination with SHE&S, maintenance, process engineering, and quality
Who you are
High School Diploma or GED; science or technical associate's degree preferred Five to seven years experience in manufacturing, chemical, polymer production or similar industry strongly preferred Established leadership skills and proven ability to direct others in a team environment Strong interpersonal skills Advanced knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of SAP preferred Must be capable of working in a fast paced work environment LEAN SixSigma training and Process Safety Management knowledge a plus Physical ability to climb stairs/ladders, bend/squat, Lift 50 lbs unassisted, move (with a hand truck) up to 550 pounds Must also be physically able to pass respirator fit testing
Will be assigned to either 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Availability to work overtime or on an alternate shift is required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
