We currently have an opening for a Financial Specialist in our Pendleton, Oregon office. This is a highly customer service driven role which assists the Branch Manager, Relationship Managers, Credit Officers and other Financial Specialists in preparing loan documents and processing transactions. This is a full-time position reporting to the Branch Manager.
Primary duties include:
Provide excellent customer service
Greet customers who visit our office and respond to customer inquiries
Gather customer information in order to complete loan documents
Meet with customers and present documents for signing
Accurately enter and maintain customer information into applicable systems
Process transactions including checks and receipts.
Coordinate with external entities such as title companies, escrow services, attorneys, appraisers, insurance, and real estate agents
Provide continued file maintenance on loans, including managing customer accounts, updating yearly monitoring requirements, and confirming continued insurance coverage
Minimum requirements for this role include a high school diploma, or equivalent. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize and prioritize work, provide excellent customer service, strong administrative and computer skills, and experience using MS Office Suite. Ag experience is beneficial. Experience working in banking or related field is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
