The Stanford University Campus Solutions and HR Systems teamis responsible for the support, maintenance, operations and upgrades of the HRand Student applications. Reporting to the Technical Manager of CampusSolutions and HR Systems group within Administrative Systems (AS), HR andCampus Solution Developer will be applying a strong combination of technicalskills. The developer will be responsible for executing all programming tasks,including programming, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, modifying,and maintaining computer programs.
CORE DUTIES :
Support and development of applications, including (but notlimited to) Students, Faculty andEmployees Portal
Conceptualize design, implement, and develop solutions forcomplex system/programs independently.
Work with a variety of users to gain information, anddevelop intra-system tradeoffs between different users, as necessary; interactwith a diverse client base and outside vendor contacts.
Document system builds and application configurations;maintain and update documentation as needed.
Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion,and implementation work.
Work as a project leader, as needed, for projects ofmoderate complexity.
Serve as a technical resource for applications.
Compare, evaluate, and implement new features andtechnologies.
Adhere to strong software development principles.
Serve as technical resource for web applications.
Mentor junior level software developers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, ora combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong interaction design skills in wireframing andprototyping.
Experience with at least one front-end JavaScript framework(i.e., KnockoutJS, JQuery).
Experience with Java, JEE, Spring framework, Servlets, JSP,HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experience with Python or ability to learn and supportPython applications.
Experience with, and knowledge of: RESTful and SOAP WebServices, JSON, XML, and XSD highly desirable.
Experience with Ant, Maven or similar build tools.
Knowledge and experience with Liferay Portal highlydesirable.
Experience with the Eclipse IDE or a willingness to learn.
Experience with database retrieval, updates using SQL.
Strong background in designing and coding Responsivewebsites (RWD).
Experience with web accessibility standards or a willingnessto learn.
Thorough understanding of version control, softwareconfiguration and release management practices.
Knowledge and experience with concurrent programming.
Experience with load, performance, and stress testing of webapplications.
Ability to define and solve logical problems for highlytechnical applications.
Strong communication skills with both technical andnon-technical clients.
Ability to lead activities on structured team developmentprojects.
Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety ofprogramming methods.
Python or ability to learn and support python applications.
Knowledge of application domain.

Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
