QA Analyst 3-ProdDev (Hardware and Network Experience)
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

The Platforms SQA team is involved in broad areas of testing of Oracle Communications product lines. These product lines include the Session Border Controller, Multi-Service Gateway, Session Load Balancer, and Diameter Session Controller. Your testing exposure will include all aspects of system testing, software upgrades, performance, capacity, scaling, and automation.
Responsibilities:
Functional Testing of software features using a variety of VoIP related network protocols.
Emphasis on transcoding technologies, transcoded call flows, and security protocols.
Pre-QA Availability testing of new hardware platforms and interface cards, at both driver and application level.
Automation development for current feature testing and also the backfilling of identified Test Escape gaps
Development of Test strategies and Test Plans.
Execution of Test Plans utilizing both Manual and Automated test tools.
Install test network environment such as switch, terminal server and cable management.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
Must have strong troubleshooting and test automation skills.
Familiarity with data networking and telephony environments with an emphasis on Next Generation IP services.
MCSC or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software quality assurance role preferably in a telephony or data networking environment.
Experience with TCL, Perl, JAVA or other scripting languages.
Familiar with Linux operating systems.
One or more year experience developing test automation for embedded software products.
One or more years of experience in dealing with Voice Coding and Transcoding technologies.
Experience in a networking environment and higher level protocol layers working with common Internet protocols (IP, TCP, H.323, SIP, DNS, SNMP, etc.).
Familiarity with IMS network architecture a plus.
