Supply Chain Manager

Commercial, newspaper and packaging printers count on us for the most extensive range of prepress solutions, including hardware, software and consumables. These include a.o. user-friendly chemistry-free printing technology which saves costs and the environment, as well as mobile publishing software for newspapers and magazines.
This position is focused on supply chain solutions which support business growth and profitability objectives, including customer service, cost management and inventory obsolescence. Drives continuous improvement within the Sales and Operational Process. Participates in the cross-functional process which forecasts demand, establishes inventory levels, maximizes financial performance and proactively manages the alignment of communication flows. Supports the implementation of Global and regional process and systems enhancements to improve supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Assist in validation of marketing forecasts for a product group
Liaise with Sales and Marketing to provide an operational forecast for manufacturing and procurement.
Manage the finished product inventory levels consistent with business targets
Develop and manage inventory and obsolescence reduction and avoidance plans
Support and participate in the local and global Sales and Operations Planning process.
Develop rough-cut capacity and supply plans that optimize manufacturing and supplier capacities.
Identification of supply shortages and development of adequate solutions to ensure customer service levels are achieved
Ensure integrity of data necessary to optimize supply chain systems and maintain metrics to measure supply chain performance.
Monitor and achieve assigned global supply chain metrics.
Prepare and issue replenishment orders, expedite deliveries, resolve problems.
Coordinate activities across multiple manufacturing sites and distribution centers which directly impact product availability and customer service levels.
Provide analysis to frame and identify areas of opportunity which can be evaluated by senior leadership.
Short Term Planning of Product Lines.
Education:
College Degree (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
Specific skills: (core competencies, key specialities, technical, human relations or managerial skills, and knowledge areas necessary)
Must have analytical skills and the ability to work at both broad conceptual levels and detailed data analysis levels.
Written/oral/visual communications skills
Demonstrated skills with MS Office, and SAP experience
Strong MS Excel Skills
