Cardio Sonographer

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform complex diagnostic ultrasound and vascular procedures of the cardiovascular and vascular systems for diagnosis and treatment under the general direction of a physician. The sonographer is responsible for ensuring excellence in the delivery of patient care through the proper execution of care standards, physician orders, and advanced imaging skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for performance of all types of cardiac ultrasound examinations: Adult Echocardiography, Stress Echo imaging studies, Pharmacologic Stress Echo imaging studies, Contrast Echo studies, and Vascular studies
Explains procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and, when necessary, signed consent and to address any questions that may arise.
Applies ECG electrodes to patient's chest ensuring a readable positive signal. Monitors, noting ectopy and arrhythmias.
Applies and removes holter monitors per physician order.
Enters patient information into echo machine and records information digitally and electronically.
Follows laboratory protocol and obtains images for comprehensive heart exam.
Makes data available to interpreting physician and reviews test results with physician.
Ability to perform Venous, Arterial, and Carotid examinations.
Performs other duties and assignments as requested by the department supervisor or Cardiologists.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience: Graduate from a two (2) year accredited ultrasound or echocardiography school. At least one (1) year of experience as a sonographer. Sonographer must be proficient in stress echocardiography as well as resting studies. Applicant must be Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certified.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: RDCS, ARDMS or CCI and RVT certification. CPR certified.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
