Quality Assurance (QA) Clerk I

Inspect inbound items for quality assurance. Check items as requested by Client Services and Customer Service by performing the following duties.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect and clear a percentage (client-specific) of inbound shipments utilizing catalogs pictures, catalog descriptions, and specifications from our clients
Take digital pictures of product that is not correct and send to the appropriate Account Rep (Must be able to use a digital camera)
Movements within the computer to ensure bad product is not allowed to ship
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
Provide feedback on quality performance
Perform duties as receiving clerk when QA work is not available
Other duties as assigned by manager
Maintain Productivity Standards/Quotas for tasks performed.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to work well with co-workers
Good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge and experience; knowledge of Sigma Commerce and/or Controller Order processing systems preferred.

Requirements:
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Must have above average attendance
Must be available to work required overtime

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
