Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing the day- to-day general ledger accounting transactions, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas.
Responsible for performing back office processes.
Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries.
Routinely communication with Supervisors relating to financial transactions, issues and deliverables.
Cross train as back-ups for other staff members.
Requirements:
5 years working in a Financial or Banking environment.
Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal).
Ability to succeed in a team environment.
Customer Service Oriented.
Understanding of accounting processes
Ability to understand and apply department procedures and internal controls.
Strong research and analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Microsoft Office Products
Knowledge of Credit Card and/or Loans is a plus
Business letter writing and procedural writing is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
