Computer Operator I

The Computer Operator's position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of data entry and monitoring of the online gaming system. This position will support the field with front-line troubleshooting of the point of sale terminal population.
Job Functions:
Data entry of winning numbers of game draws into the online system.
Monitoring processing of online system during production hours.
Processing of the system through day end processing and completing backup media.
Troubleshooting communications issues with field services, network management and telecom providers to ensure retailer uptime.
Ability to work a non-standard shift and fill-in for shifts, as needed
Operate all computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines
Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment are maintained
Prioritize nightly processes to ensure performance of time critical schedule
Run all programs for production systems
Ability to problem solve and gather data to troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues
Log and report problems to management
Must be able to prioritize tasks as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
High School/GED
Skills/Abilities:
Windows 7, Office
Basic computer skills
Experience with Linux a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
