Barrett Paving Materials Inc., New York Central Region, a leader in manufacturing and placement of asphalt materials, is currently seeking experienced personnel for the following position in the construction division:
Pipe Layer:
All applicants shall be well versed in various aspects of pipe installation including, closed drainage systems, sanitary sewer systems and waterline distribution systems. Familiarities with gas line a plus. Must have strong ability of reading plans and blueprints as well as the knowledge of equipment associated with various pipe installations. Applicant will need to have a strong commitment to working safely.
Duties include: Responsible for assisting the Pipe Foreman with assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm or sanitation sewers, and water mains. Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes. Aligns pipes to correct grade utilizing a pipe laser. Minimum 3-4 years of pipe experience required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
