We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Poker Dealer. An individual could be successful if they posses the following.
Your daily responsibilities include
Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Poker Department
Adheres to all gaming commission and company and departmental policies and procedures while dealing assigned games.
Make accurate and clear chip and cash transactions.
Informs Poker Room Manager when a mistake is made or a dispute arises, or of any unnatural or irregular play.
Verifies, by signature, all clerical transactions.
Assists customers with any problems or requests.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow Cast members.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Manager or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other cast members of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to stand or walk; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The cast member must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Cast members with braces, slings, and cast are not permitted to work on the floor with these medical aides.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
