SUMMARY
Intermediate to advanced level technician able to provide a broad range of mobile repair service to used customer refuse trucks and concrete mixer trucks at various customer locations within a designated geographical area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair work to all makes of concrete mixers and refuse hauling trucks.
Interact positively with customers and suppliers promoting service work.
Maintain necessary maintenance records.
Make service calls to various offsite locations within a designated geographical are to service disabled trucks.
All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designee.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
5-plus years experience in maintenance, preferably in vehicle and truck body repair
Ability to perform basic and occasionally complex maintenance and repair
Ability to read schematics
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic/electrical systems
Skill and experience in stick and wire feed welding
Basic computer skills
Must maintain acceptable level of punctuality and attendance for work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree
CLD License
