The Cancer Center Site Manager is a hospital based leader for Meridian Cancer Care, which is a multi-facility hospital based cancer program. This position is responsible for program development and the day-to-day clinical, operational and financial management of the hospital based multidisciplinary clinic, inpatient oncology, outpatient medical oncology, and radiation therapy units. This position is indirectly responsible for cancer support services at the hospital.

This is a regional position, overseeing Oncology Services at both Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank and Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.
Responsibilities
A day in the life of a Cancer Center Site Manager at Meridian includes:
Day-to-day clinical, operational and financial management of the cancer center, including marketing/promotion and physician relationships
Actively promoting Meridian Oncology Services throughout the community, including development of outreach strategy and oversight of patient and community education
Establishing and staffing the cancer center according to departmental goals and budgets, while focusing on quality initiatives including patient satisfaction and providing the best experience to all patients and guests
Serving as an educational resource to team members as needed
Developing and managing the budget for assigned areas, including monitoring and analyzing key financial indicators and performance metrics. This includes modifying business activities as needed in response to changing financial situations
Representing the cancer center on the hospital leadership team and reporting on relevant data and key metrics
Ensuring regulatory compliance, including responding to regulatory agencies and modifying practices in response to changes in regulations
Partnering with corporate and hospital leaders to develop programs that support the overall strategic initiatives of the cancer service line, including accreditation requirements and the desired patient experience
Working with other hospital site leaders across the network to define and ensure consistency with processes, protocols and performance standards
Overseeing supportive care services which may include nutrition, social work, genetics, patient navigation services and other services as developed
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is required
Master's Degree is preferred
Clinical background is preferred
Oncology experience is required
Must have at least five (5) years of management experience
Must have the ability to effectively manage division budget
Must have strong knowledge of creating and continually improving the customer service/guest experience in a hospital setting
Must have strong leadership, communication, motivational, critical thinking, program management and customer service skills
