Software Engineer, Mid
Key Role:
Design, prototype, develop, and implement applications using several Web programming languages. Serve as a mid level developer and perform work that is critical to project success. Leverage expertise and tools, including Internet , intranet , and extranet based applications development, such as .NET, SQL Server, XML, HTML, jQuery, Java, and JavaScript. Provide influence at the account and client management levels and solve highly technical and complex problems, as needed. Consult for other projects, work under minimal supervision, and provide input on project decisions. This position is not available for remote delivery and requires working on the client site.
Basic
Qualifications:
3 years of experience with C+
or an equivalent object oriented language, including Java and SQL Server or equivalent SQL database, such as MySQL or Oracle
Knowledge of programming and debugging Microsoft .NET 4.0
Web applications in C#
Knowledge of developing Web applications that incorporate HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a group
TS/SCI clearance
BA or BS degree in CS or 4 years of experience with SQL servers and equivalent specific system software
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience with Bootstrap or jQuery UI
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008+, including the T SQL language
Experience with MVC frameworks and pattern based software architecture and design
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server
Experience with ArcGIS for Server 10.x, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Desktop 10.x
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills relative to team members, users, and clients
Possession of excellent problem solving skills
