Lead Mechanical Engineer

Position Summary
The candidate will research, develop, design, and test a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.
Performs routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision
Work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy.
Evaluates the desired goal of the system and develops, designs, or selects the required equipment, power controls, piping, structures and earthwork to achieve the goal.
Performs calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial and commercial applications.
Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer.
May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering task.
May supervise a team of engineers.
BS or MS in an engineering discipline required
10 years of experience required
PE registration highly preferred
MS Office software experience required
Petrochemical industry experience including pressure vessel specification and rotating equipment specification required
