Utility Clerk - Meat & Seafood
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Customer relations; Eye contact, Speaking to each customer; Being helpful,
Packaging / wrapping / pricing / stocking,
Motivated,
Responsible for the overall condition of the sales floor,
Rotation / product codes,
Overall understanding of meat operation,
Contributes to profitable operation,
Equipment cleaning and sanitization,
Proper handling of equipment,
Weekly ad, advantage sales,
Seasonal sales,
General housekeeping / sanitization / food safety,
Cooler and freezer organization,
Team approach to job. Positive outlook,
Jumps in and helps where needed,
Communicates well with manager,
Training programs,
Planning, organization, imagination,
Follow through / prioritize tasks ,
Other duties as assigned by the perishable or meat manager,
Support programs that we have; Advantage Card; Continuity, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 nights until closing. 20-28 hour work week,
Available 5 of 7 day work week,
Reliable and dependable,
Stooping, bending and repetitive lifting to 80#.
